| Criteria for Selection |
Registration details:
The Organisation should be registered under the Indian Societies Registration Act/Indian Trust Act/Indian Religious & Charitable Act/Company Act or their State counterpart for a minimum of 10 years.
Assets:
Applicant Organisations should possess minimum fixed assets of Rs 5 lakhs in the name of the organisation, in the form of land and building, which should be reflected in the latest Audited Balance Sheet.
Jurisdiction:
The Organisation should have an office/presence in at least one of the State/UTs for which the organisation is applying for.
Experience:
The Organisation should have proven experience in the Family Welfare (FW) sector for a minimum of 5 years. Specifically the Organisation should have experience in:
• The organisation should be recognised at the national level as having contributed to one or more of the following:
» Capacity building of a wide range of health care providers/organisations including community development organisations.
» Contributing to national policy planning and formulation.
» Be recognised as an organisation experienced in community service delivery and one that has enabled transfer of such skills to a significant number of other organisations within one or more states.
» Functions as a technical clearing house and training support organisation.
• The organisation should have a strong professional team and in house capacity to conduct at least some of the services described above.
• The organisation should have systems in place and be experienced in accessing external technical inputs as required.

| Selection Process: |
• NGO Division, MoHFW, will conduct an initial Desk Review of all applicants for RRCs as per the criteria outlined.
• The short listed applicants will be subject to a field appraisal conducted by the MoHFW Officials & Consultants.
• The findings will be placed before the GIAC for final selection of RRC based on Desk Review and Field Appraisal findings. |
