4 Increased access of NGOs to disaggregated data, training, communication material and information on policies and programmes by regular publications like - RRC-VHAI Newsletter ‘Abhilasha’ (Hindi/English) and RRC-VHAI Website www.vhai-rrc.org, which is regularly updated.
5 Documentation and dissemination of best practices on RCH.
Voluntary Health Association of India (VHAI) started formally functioning since January, 2002 as a Regional Resource Centre (RRC) with support from the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India. With the implementation of the revised Guidelines, July 2005 onwards there are 11-RRCs functional across the country.
The issues leading to declining sex ratio in the State of Delhi were discussed during the Thematic Workshop organized by RRC. The workshop provided an interface with the main stakeholders under PC-PNDT to work together while addressing the issue of ‘Missing Girls’.
